The first ReFuelForum for North America concluded on a high note after two days of dynamic discussions, insightful sessions, and networking. Hosted in Texas, the energy capital of the region, the event brought together leading service station and convenience store companies from North and Latin America.

Day 1 Highlights: A Dynamic Start

The forum began with a warm welcome from Kevin Farley, Chief Client Officer at Impact 21, followed by a session on e-mobility by Jay Warner (Vice President, Strategy & Corporate Development of PDI Technologies) and a panel discussion on tech solutions and industry pain points. Myra Kressner, Co-Founder of Vision Group Network, moderated the discussion featuring Nick Peters (Campbell Oil Company) and Robert Hampton (Jacksons Food Stores). Turbo-talks featured insights on future-proofing fuel stations and power pitches from industry leaders, including TNS, FuelTrans, Enact, Stuzo, Volumatic and Star Charge.

The day concluded with OpenRoom's signature one-to-one business meetings, and a very Texan evening at the Famous Knibbe Ranch.

Day 2: Building on Connections

The day commenced with a retailer-exclusive round table discussion moderated by Kevin Farley of Impact 21. Following this, Simon Martin, VP of International Sales at Kalibrate, took center stage, leading a thought-provoking discussion on mobility data, points of interest (POIs), and the consumer path to purchase.

ReFuel Forum provided a platform for retail professionals to expand knowledge, develop business strategies, and build lasting connections.

The attendee feedback speaks for itself…

Justin Klein, Director of Business Development at Enact Systems: “I can't say how much this was beneficial to Enact's new go-to-market strategy. ReFuelForum provided a tremendous amount of knowledge based presentations and meetings, and I’ve been left with many connections and a pilot program set to launch in the coming months.”

Nick Peters, VP of IT at Campbell Oil Company: “The networking and quick meeting concept with strategic partners and new added services was hugely helpful to me. It was an exciting time to mingle with your partners and friends and get some insights into how the industry is moving forward and growing in the future.”

As the event wrapped up, organizers announced ReFuelForum USA 2024. Early registration is open, please contact us to find out more.
