Yesway eases rewards program access

Customers will no longer need apps or cards as they will be able to use their phone numbers to access rewards, discounts and more.

Yesway has removed the need to download apps or present cards for customers to access its rewards program’s benefits.

The retailer now offers the possibility of entering a mobile phone number for customers to benefit from discounts, rewards and more. This option has been made available at all Yesway and Allsup’s stores.

With these changes, Yesway aims to ease the reward experience for customers, as they no longer need to remember usernames or passwords.

In addition, the company has removed its “points” system and will now implement Smiles as currency for rewards. Customers can earn 10 Smiles for each $1 spent in-store and 5 Smiles for each gallon of gas purchased.

Users can spend Smiles in exchange for rewards and, as long as the reward has not expired, they can return them for Smiles in case they change their minds.
